Not everyone will know what this is or even have heard of it.  It’s certain that those who’ve participated in this scheme will never forget it though.  It’s a funded means of British students spending a year abroad studying in another University as a fully fledged student.  It adds another year to the UK degree and students have to pass their studies but they get the chance to live and work in another country and culture with a EU grant.  This is a unique opportunity and people say the friends and memories last a lifetime and that the Erasmus exchange programme is one of the greatest culture and character building programmes that you can have in your whole life.
