What’s in a name?

There is a proposal to rename the ward currently called Marple South to “Marple South & High Lane”.
What do you think?
From Mon 17 July for 4 weeks (i.e. until 11 Aug), you can express your views via Marple or High Lane libraries or on the Have Your Say web pages here.
From there it is likely that any proposal goes to Marple Area Committee on 27 Sept and then Full Council on 26 Oct. So we need to know what you think!
Marple South is the bottom yellow ward
This is a good idea. It makes clear the separate existence of High Lane and our distinctive problems.
