We gave some forewarning of this recently. The signs have been confusing. One relates to a closure overnight on a single night, for United Utilities and that co-incides with longer work by Cadent replacing the gas main. This is to confirm Lower Fold will be closed to traffic as from now (closed around 3.00pm) up to 16th June. The work is between the junctions with Waters Edge and Pear Tree Close and there will be access only. Cadent have been talking to residents to explain fully and distribute a letter.
