St George’s Day in Marple

Please note that the below roads in Marple will be closed to traffic to allow the Marple St Georges Day Parade to commence on Sunday 24th April.
The following rolling closure will be in place from 14:30 to 15:00:
– Stockport Road – From Church Street to Hibbert Lane
– Hibbert Lane – From Stockport Road to Church Lane
– Church Lane – From Hibbert Lane to All Saints Church
After a 45 minute service at All Saints Church the following rolling closure will be in place from 15:45 to 16:15:
– Church Lane – From All Saints Church to Trinity Street
– Trinity Street for the full length
– Stockport Road – From Trinity Street to Church Street
In addition Town St in Marple Bridge will be closed between 11 am and 6 pm for a street party on Sunday 12 June.

And the signs warning people in Mellor of the Town Street closure were in place from when? I shouldn’t need to rely on communications from you to find this out.
Jean is right – it’s the 12 June. So corrected.
I don’t think this information is correct. I understood that the street party in Marple Bridge would be held in June
