We have been advised of a number of imminent road works affect Mellor in particular

Sewer inspection and cleaning at the junction of Town St, Lower Fold and Brabyns Brow (i.e. next to the bridge of Marple Bridge) between 1st and 7th Aug.

United Utilities are replacing an old water supply on Longhurst Lane near the junction with Knowle Road during the weekend of 6th and 7th Aug.  Both of these require temporary lights but no road closure.

 

And in Marple South, United Utilities will replace a manhole on Church St on Fri 12th Aug (between the junctions with Trinity St and Willow Grove); lights will operate between 09:30 and 15:30.
